Meet Christina
Hello, I'm Christina! I was born in Long Beach, raised in Lakewood, fell in love in Huntington Beach, went to university in Fullerton, started my career in Orange, had my kids in Anaheim, and started raising them in Whittier. But it's probably just easier to say I'm a Southern California girl, born and raised. At least I was...
Now I live in West Knoxville with my high school sweetheart husband and our three kids (ranging in ages from elementary to high school). Our home here is our haven full of green grass, fresh air, animals (wild, tamed, and human variety), space to breathe and grow, and constant activity. And I wouldn't have it any other way. It's literally our dreams come true.
We relocated here in 2020 and fell in love with the local culture and community. But, the move wasn't easy for me. I struggled with worries about my kids, sadness about leaving wonderful friends and family, and stress about all the decisions we needed to make along the way.
Thankfully, we had an amazing agent listing our California house, and an amazing agent helping us find our Knoxville home. They both worked so hard for us, and kept the momentum moving forward when hardships hit (and there were many hardships).
These two amazing women inspired me to make the leap to become a realtor. Not just a realtor, but one who protects her clients, cares about their wellbeing, and works her hardest on their behalf, just like my agents had time and time again for us.
And that's exactly what I'll do for you. I hope to not just be your agent, but to be the first friend you make in our neck of the woods.
Knoxville's California Specialist
What It's Like to Work With Me
Much like a hair stylist, you'll choose your Realtor partly by their skills and partly by how well they listen to you. My role is to assist you in every step of your purchase, like a wedding coordinator ensures the bride's choices are possible, practical, and executed well. I will offer advice, provide you with resources, and support you so that you're free to enjoy your search and feel confident in your decisions.
You Want
Someone Who...
You Trust
It's hard putting yourself in a stranger's hands. Referrals and reviews are a great start, but be sure you interview your potential agent. A conversation goes a long way to build your trust.
Negotiates Well
There are more ways to get what you need than the listing price. Your agent needs to be willing to think outside the box for you. Concessions, timelines, ,
Gets You
There are many differences between California and Tennessee. Your agent needs to be able to help you navigate the changes in laws, society, geography, and expectations.
Knows the Area
I love knowing every detail about how things work. Whether you're concerned about zoning, neighboring properties, or unique ways to negotiate, I'll happily dig into the issues that concern you.
Who I Am
Honest
I will share my opinions with you, not just because you're relying on me to be your eyes and ears, but also because that's who I am. My yes will be yes, and my no will be no.
Detailed
I love knowing every detail about how things work. Whether you're concerned about zoning, neighboring properties, or unique ways to negotiate, I'll happily dig into the issues that concern you.
Empathetic
Everyone comes with different priorities, timelines, & feelings about their move. I love helping you figure out where and how to focus our search, and how to change stress to excitement.
Hilarious
I've been compared to Amy Poehler once in my life, and that's one of the greatest compliments I've ever received. Why does that matter? Because finding your dream home should be FUN!
The
Move to Knoxville
Leaving California was a significant leap, but we wanted a different life. Tennessee offered the values and freedoms we sought, and Knoxville captured our hearts with the small town-big city feel and the option to live in "the country" but be 15 minutes from a Target (yes, that was one of my parameters). We traded concrete walls for rolling hills and the daily sounds of nature. Knoxville is a place where community feels real and life slows down just enough to enjoy it. We feel truly blessed to have found this peaceful sanctuary. Having managed a cross-country move myself, I understand the logistical and emotional hurdles you're facing. I'm ready to use my firsthand experience to lead you through every step of your own relocation journey.
